Day 1: Chennai

Arrive Chennai. Transfer to hotel and overnight stay at Chennai

Day 2: Chennai

Full day tour of Mahabalipuram and Kanchipuram after breakfast. Kanchipuram (64 km from Chennai) is the ancient capital of the Pallavas. It is famous as a city of 1000 temples and still has 124 shrines. Overnight stay at Chennai.

Day 3: Chennai - Madurai

City tour of Chennai after breakfast - Museum to see the Art and Bronze Gallery.
Drive to railway-station at late evening for overnight journey to Madurai.

Day 4: Madurai

Arrival at Madurai in the morning. Transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit to great Meenakshi Temple, dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva. In the evening - Grand Aarti. Overnight stay at Madurai.

Day 5: Madurai - Periyar

Drive to Periyar National Park (by road covering 180 km - 4 hours) after breakfast. It extends to 777 square km and forms part of the high mountain ranges, the Western Ghats. Enjoy a boat ride in the Periyar Lake. Visit Kumily Spice Market in the evening. Spend night at resort in Thekkady.

Day 6: Thekkady - Trivandrum

Drive to Trivandrum after breakfast (by road covering 200 km - 4 hour). Kerala has lush green with full of lakes and water. Reach and relax at Trivandrum.

Day 7: Trivandrum

Day will be free in Trivandrum or optional tours to Cape Comorin (Kanyakumari - the southern most part of India) or nearby places like Kovalam beach, etc.

Day 8: Trivandrum - Cochin

Drive to Cochin en-route villages of Kerala (by road covering 260 km - 6 hours). The eventful history of this city began when a major flood in 1341 AD threw open the estuary at Kochi, till then a land locked region, turning it into one of the finest natural harbors in the world. Watch Kathakali dance presentation in the evening. Overnight stay at Cochin.

Day 9: Cochin - Bangalore

City tour of Cochin after breakfast - one of the finest natural harbors on the Arabian Sea coast, Kochi. The city has been a pot of call for foreign traders from early times. Transfer to railway-station for overnight journey to Bangalore.

Day 10: Bangalore

Arrival at Bangalore in the morning. Transfer to hotel followed by breakfast. Bangalore - every season carries a holiday mood, a city called the Garden City of India, a city which has identified it self as the Manhattan of India, a city which keeps pace with the latest trends and fashion. Overnight stay at Bangalore.

Day 11: Bangalore - Mysore

Drive to Mysore after breakfast (by road covering 140 km - 3 hours). Visit the Seringipatnam en-route. Arrive and transfer to hotel.

Day 12: Mysore

After breakfast, morning visit at palace of Maharaja built in 1911 - 1912. Afternoon free. Overnight stay in Mysore.

Day 13: Mysore - Chennai

Breakfast at hotel. Morning free. Transfer to rail-station to catch the train for Chennai.

Day 14: Chennai / Onward destination

Transfer to airport for onward destination.
